Let’s Go Turkey Hunting
Posted on November 8th, 2009 No commentsOne of the most accepted behavior to pursuit turkeys is with a bow and arrow. It is a tradition in North America, apparently, that relies on failure business and making the finish shot. There are many agencies and organizations in place to both put a break to washout hunting and to joist the tradition of failure hunting. Like most martial factions, these two groups will finish at nothing to try to avert the overtaking of their ideals. One cannot typically accept a trait on a concern, however, lacking eloquent the make itself. It is important, thus, to get as much of a foundation in the information on washout hunting as promising to director an educated judgment.

What are the large groups of black birds …?
Posted on May 6th, 2009 1 commentthat tend to travel together, and roost in treetops or powerlines? They make raucous cawing noise and flock in large groups, espescially around dusk.
Are they CROWS, JACKDAWS, ROOKS? I thought they were blackbirds but wiki doesn’t mention blackbirds being indiginous to North America. I’m in MD, if this info helps answer my question. -
Confused Black Birds earthquake or new bird species or ?
Posted on April 20th, 2009 1 commentI came out of a shopping center into the parking lot in west sac ,ca A few weeks ago and black birds were all over gathered in large groups on the ground they seemed confused ,they huddled by parked cars and even tried to fly into the windows of the vehicals, they didnt even seem scared when walking up to the car ,I had to make them move to keep from running them over.Earlier in the day I thought Id seen another type of black bird in with them but it had a short bill.It was really strange to see them act like that in the parking lot they wouldnt even fly off the ground very high.Im not sure if a different species of black birds got mixed with the locals and they all got confused as I have seen the locals mix with red winged black birds here for a short time while the red wings make a pit stop here.
That was the only time i seen them act like that but something was really wrong wether a earth quake warning or new birds species anyone else have any thought so this? -

Posted on April 19th, 2009 No commentsAutumn approaches. It is back-to-school season, harvest season, foliage-watching season, and, of course, football season. As many of you know, it is also migrating season for many birds. Soon, many of our winged friends will be wind-bound to warmer climes. It is a very important time of year for birds, and there are some things that backyard birders can do to help them. (I should note that every time of year is very important for birds; fall simply has its own set of challenges and opportunities.)
